Those humans that call themselves the Ilwyrikans cling to the coastline of southern Ilwyrika in towns and villages, or in the capital city to the far south. They came from the south over two thousand years ago, but still have not managed to tame the country they consider their home.
The Ilwyrikans are primarily fishermen and whalers, and those who live alongside the Ikeota mountains mine them for their resources and riches. They use sleds pulled by dogs as transport, especially when the Ilwyrikan Sea freezes over in the winter and they have to travel further to fish.
