Vi'ona is the capital city of Ilwyrika, located on the southern coast. It was founded over a thousand years ago, when the people now known as the Ilwyrikans landed on the shore from the south. The largest settlement in Ilwyrika, it has a population of around fifteen thousand people, which accounts for over a third of the country's Ilwyrikan inhabitants.
The buildings in Vi'ona are constructed mostly of wood, harvested from the surrounding forest. Some newer structures are being built from stone, due to more frequent conversations about fire and the potential flammability of the city.
