Reeve

A sheltered port

The busy port town of Reeve is located on the island of Larinsa in northern Caia. About fifty percent of the population of Larinsa lives in Reeve, numbering several thousand. It is situated in a sheltered bay, cut off from the Grey Waters by towering cliffs. The only way into the bay is through a winding sea cave that takes skill to navigate. Of course, this does not bother the Larinese, who can shapeshift into rock gulls, but the rare visitors the island gets must brave this route.
Reeve has a lot of verticality, built as it is into the cliff face. In some places, it has stairs, ramps, and rope bridges to facilitate access, but many places in the town are only reachable via flight.
