Ramscorpion Insurgency

Also known as the Ramscorpion Massacre, The Ramscorpion Insurgency was a 3-month long campaign waged against the annexation of their land. While they did end up losing much of their land to the creation of the Yak'koliThon Expo, the Uprising still gave many civilians time to evacuate to other IdPari regions, and prevented their land from being entirely dissolved.

It's never over, it's never enough for them. They won't stop until they've claimed every corner of the Roost for themselves, or until we've burned their city down.

Summary

Inciding Incident

It was already sizzling hot out by the time the Keepers dared to show their faces at the Roost. Although they arrived en masse pouring out of airships in armed dozens, their steps were timid. The people of the Roost were known to be armed, and despite any attempt to turn out their stashes they could still be seen perched on rooftops, aiming down the barrels of their rifles.

Between them and the Keepers? Protestors in wait to become rioters. They chanted in front of the signs. They danced. They lit things on fire. Towards the back of their lines, Gravity Bikes stood lined up in wait, motors humming softly.

These people wouldn't be swayed easily.

Tragedy

The insurgency was doomed from the beginning. They were armed, but Yak'koli had an actual military and weaponry, and even though people rose in protest against the treatment of the Ramscorpions, the majority held little sympathy for their plight.
