Corralum Filtrate

Corralum Filtrate is a prototype Corralum species that filters out toxins and regenerates itself off organic compounds. Created by WorldBiotic Inc. corp before the Lacuna, very few working prototypes can be found. The material was easy to work with, easy to control, and very effective at purifying air of most known toxins. The few Filtrates being used in the settlement of Kainga are used to purify their water and air intake.

The People of Kainga believe that their might be storehouses of the material below, but so far it's proven too deep for anyone to find.

Self Regenerating Filters

Corralum Filtrate can be 'planted' in its package of paste-like substance. Once planted it will set its growth pattern based on where it was planted. The corralum will rapidly replicate, devouring particulate and toxins in the air to fuel it's own reproduction. It will seal spaces as large as a doorframe. Once formed, it will subside and survive on impurities in the air. It will shed dead parts of itself outwards, requiring the occassional sweep of the dusty particulate.

It does need to be maintained, as leaving it unattended too long can lead to thickening of the filters.

Lost Technology

Corralum Filtrate was an industrial breakthrough being developed by WorldBiotic Inc. just before the The Melancholic Lacuna. After the fall of WorldBiotic, the technology was lost as it was protected IP stored planetside.

Getting this technology back could allow a small team purify space that would otherwise prove lethal due to inhalation dangers.
