The Forces of the Inferior were created by the remaining survivors of the Second Uprising. They are people believing that the Novus Ordo must be overthrown through armed confrontation. After the fiasco of the Second Uprising, where their leaders and positions were exposed by Conglomerate espionage, the FOI has developed an analogue encryption system, based on ancient Babylonian hieroglyphs.
To avoid the infiltration of spies in their ranks, they have developed a ritual where new members drink a specially prepared potion which unlocks their subconscious, making them unable to withhold any information.
With firearms strictly prohibited by the Novus Ordo and the
Syndicates making sure the rules are followed, the Inferiors go to great lengths to get their hands on anything that can strengthen their cause. They usually make secret deals with the
Blak, although there have been instances where they have made orders for special equipment from the
Norms and the
Oldboys.
They occasionally launch strikes at the Avernus Gate, but they have never gone past it. They don’t possess long range projectiles, so they do not pose a serious threat to the City, although they are a thorn in the side of both the Praetorians and the Syndicates, who are supposed to maintain order in
The Center.
Rumors about a big hit have been going around for a while now, signaling the time for the Third Uprising, but there is no proof of such a plan.
