Dispatching weapons are weapons made to finish or end fights quickly, using deadly and fatal means against Bloodied and Critically Injured targets.

 

Trait Mechanic⚙️

Against creatures with the Bloodied condition, this weapon deals additional damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus. This extra damage also occurs if they were bloodied by the damage, or if they were Blockstunned within the last round (starting from the start of the inducing creature's turn).

 

Additionally, if the creature is not Bloodied when they are struck, but would be if they took an amount of damage equal to 4 + your Proficiency Bonus, the attack does even more damage, equal to the amount JUST enough to Bloody them. This extra damage ignores Damage Reduction and Damage Resistance

When your proficiency bonus is 4 or more, the above effect also applies when an enemy is close to having 0 HP, not just when they are close to being Bloodied.
