Ability Description |
You magically silver your tongue or your hands with magi, giving you an aura or appearance of enchanted diplomacy.
Choose one of the following effects.
- Cheer. You’re able to talk up someone else, granting them an Advantage on their next Charisma-based skill check. If they already have Advantage, you grant them 2 stages of a Bonus Dice (base d6)
- Distort. You distort the value of an object you are trying to peddle, doubling its perceived value or reducing it by up to half. If not set DC is present, one would have to pass a DC set by the GM or an Average DC by Level.
- Tame. (Only works against wild creatures with the Beast or Mythical Beast traits: You can make convincing, comforting sounds, making the target friendly to you. You gain advantage on your next Charisma-based check, and you cannot critically fail the check.
Anyone can examine your method of communication for magic, making a Perception or Insight check vs your Save DC. If they Succeed, the effect is negated for that creature.
Creatures immune to being Compelled or Enthralled are immune to this spell.
The GM may also impose a diplomatic penalty if an NPC feels like they are being fooled.
