Features |
Aquatic Anatomy : ~0.0 [quote]The creature can breathe air and water. To make up for this, the creature may have issues operating on land in other means, such as a lowered movement speed.
Death Frenzy : ~0.5
When a reefclaw is killed, its body spasms horrifically. Immediately upon dying, the reefclaw makes two claw attacks against the nearest creature. If more than one creature is within reach, roll randomly for each attack to determine the target (which may be another reefclaw).
Venom : ~0.5
Once per turn, when the Reefclaw strikes a creature, they must make a Fortitude save (vs DC 15). If they fail, they become Poisoned until the start of their next turn.
Actions |
The Reefclaw will attack any enemy within range with it's claws, and clamber down on enemies they've ensared. Their primary goal is to Constrict and Poison their prey, and will not focus enemies it's already grappled with.Giant Claw | ◈ | Melee Weapon Attack, 10 ft range | +3 to hit | Hit: 5 ( 1d6+1 ) Slashing damage, See Constrict and Venom.
Crunching Claw | ◈ | Melee Weapon Attack, Grappled enemies only | +3 to hit / Hit: 9 ( 2d6+1 ) Piercing damage, See Venom.
Constrict : ~0.5 | ◇ | Targets Reflex, single target
If the Reeflcaw lands it's melee attack against a creature, they must make a Reflex saving throw vs DC 15. On a failure, or if the Reeflcaw critically succeeds, the creature becomes Grappled with the Reeflcaw.
-Tactics- |
They won't provoke attacks, but can be controlled and directed as pets. Malcontents tend to use them for such due to their intimidation factor.
