Perched atop the stool of fungi is a long creature of shiny dark brown or bright red plates. It's multitude of moving, synchronous limbs drag across fungus as it surges toward. As does a half dozen others you did not see until they all surged as one.
It has a lot legs. Not sure how much, tho. Wish there was some way to find out without counting.

Weakening Poison :
~0.5
This creature's fangs are quite potent, being filled with a nonlethal poison.
Every time this creature inflicts damage with their bite attack, the attacked target must succeed on a Fortitude saving through vs DC 13. On failure, the target takes 2d6 additional Poison damage (or an amount of poison damage equal to 2d6 x TL). This poison damage cannot reduce a creature's HP below 1 HP. Those who fail their saving throw at 1 HP, or who Critically fail the save, gain the Stunned for until the start of their next turn.

Giant Spiders are bugs and, mostly, big dumb creatures that attack in packs of
2d4 . They will fight to the death, and not attack creatures that are already unconcious.
There's not really much else to it. They're kinda too dumb to even be companions. All they wanna do is eat their prey in peace.
