In an isolated place—like a cave, remote oasis, or secluded mansion—you lived a life of solitude. Adventuring might represent your first foray out among other people in some time. This might be a welcome reprieve from solitude or an unwanted change, but in either case, you’re likely still rough around the edges.

Hermit Inspirations

You gain Tokens of Inspiration by enjoying your solitude, or helping others with what you've learned on your own You could be an exile finding your way back to the shores of other social environments, or you could be someone whose lived long enough to want to see that retirement through.

You gain the following...
    • Attribute Boosts
    • You gain 2 Attribute Boosts. Traditionally, Hermits set at least one of theirs to Constitution or Wisdom.
    • Primary Skill Proficiencies
      • A Common Language of your choice.
      • Another Common Language of your choice, or a Profession skill of choice.
    • Gained Equipment
    • A scroll case stuffed full of notes from your studies or prayers, a winter blanket, a set of common clothes, and a pouch containing 15 sp.
