Mr Aften was right, a single giant oak tree was left in the center of town. The people of Newlaness added four pillars around it with floating orbs that not only protect the city from magic, but also allow them to use some very strange technology. For a town that only popped up four weeks ago the craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful on the buildings. I can’t wait for Papa to see it. Walking into town felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I can’t describe the relief I felt in any other way. Could it have been from the orbs?
