King Sumphyr of Wahstrehite Character in Wynsumheord | World Anvil

King Sumphyr of Wahstrehite

(a.k.a. King of the West)

The ruler of The Wahstrehite Kingdom, and the biggest threat to Wynsumheord.   The King of the West is the most violent of the four rulers of the kingdoms that surround the land of Wynsumheord. He never committed to the agreement set forth in The Birth of Wynsumheord. Instead, he continued to terrorize the land, sending his Wahstrehite Knights into all the Ealdensteads and wreaking much havoc. Out of all the Ealdensteads, Edwistburg was unforunately the most terrorized, being closest in proximity to The Wahstrehite Kingdom. The king made it his personal goal to instill much fear in its citizens in hopes that they would soon surrender, but they never did. So, he finally sent his men to raid the village. It is now considered a ruin.

Accomplishments & Achievements

King Sumphyr is quite proud of his status. He is known to be the most violent and tyrannical of all the kings, but he appreciates the title, striving to live up to it every day. He also teaches his son, Prince Zekyn of Wahstrehite, to follow in his footsteps. Once his son had come of age, the young man vowed to make his father proud and fulfill the great prophecy that was said to be what should happen before a great kingdom is consumed by another. This was thought to be referring to Wynsumheord as the great kingdom and Wahstrehite as the other that would consume it.
