Rhibear Species in The Garden that Burned | World Anvil

Rhibear

Rhibears are most commonly found in mountainous areas or places with cave networks, often claiming these caves as their own. They are fiercely territorial creatures and will even attack on another if its outside of their typical sprigtime mating season. The Rhibears will use their nose horn to crack and clear away the stone walls of their caves in order to give themselves space as they grow. In addition to their nose horn, they have several spikes across their sides that lead up their hips which they use to side-check other creature fleeing when they are side by side. Due to their temperament these beasts are considered incredibly difficult to tame and as such are not commonly used as mounts.
