The Stormrunners

The Stormrunners are a kingdom spanning couriers' guild, with branches in every major city, and many of the smaller towns of Avalyra. They pride themselves on being the best of the best, never failing a delivery and completing jobs no matter the danger or distance. They boast being able to run letters and packages from Haven to the Venomous Isles and anywhere in between.

Structure

From their headquarters in Kyath Ennore, the Stormrunners branch out across Avalyra. Jelena Gracin runs the main branch in Kyath Ennore, and each separate agency run by the Stormrunners reports ultimately to her. Each of these branches are overseen by a director, and employ anywhere from a few to a few dozen couriers, tasked with delivering letters and parcels to the surrounding areas. For particularly dangerous or challenging tasks, every director has access to a library of magic items to assist their employees in completing jobs, and upholding the runners' reputation.

Culture

Stormrunner couriers generally blend into the surrounding populace, with many of them using this to their advantage in the case of sensitive deliveries requiring subtle work. Those that are recognised are typically regarded positively, with the guild's reputation preceding them. Those that have utilised the Runners generally have nothing but positive words about them, speaking of their speed, efficiency and typical professionalism.

Assets

The Stormrunners own offices in every major city in Avalyra, typically small, understated buildings with larger attached warehouses for storage of both packages and the guild's magic items. Many of these items grant ways for couriers to track the intended recipients of parcels and letters, though others are more powerful to varying degrees. While the couriers often wear no armour to maximise their freedom of movement, they typically use various magic items for protection.
