Kingdom of Avalyra
The Kingdom of Avalyra was formed at the same time as the Tocurian Dynasty. The splitting of the realm into these two kingdoms marked year 0.
Demography and Population
Avalyra is a primarily Human kingdom, but many races make their home under the kingdom's rule. Across the land, acceptance of these other races varies wildly, with towns such as Kyath Ennore being extremely welcoming, and others, such as Mistcliff and Dor Vonul, suffering from racial tensions of varying degrees.
The city of Irlalion is a haven for many elves in Avalyra, though it doesn't officially fall under the kingdom's domain, leading to disputes between the crown and the woodland city.

Religion
Avalyrans worship a pantheon of gods, each one governing several aspects of life and the world. The Gods of Avalyra are said to have created the world untold centuries ago, with each on crafting an aspect of Amion or its peoples. Many devout citizens worship the gods as a whole, though focus most of their devotion on one or more that more directly affect their lives, such as sailors favouring Athar and Edona, or blacksmiths worshipping Meldona. Several of the gods are seen to be evil and, while their worship isn't outlawed, it is frowned upon by most.
