Wind crystals are translucent blue-green crystals of varying sizes found in caverns, currently only, located beneath the Vestrial Tower in Anhara's Coquet Heights region. These crystals are crucial to the emerging technology of airship design, as their semi-hollow structure and seemingly divinely-influenced magic properties allow for the storage and harnessing of the winds.

Ritual

Blessed by either Mistra, Vestria, or both, these crystals allow the College of Vestrial Priestesses, or other adequately trained individuals, to, after much prayer and concentration, fill them with air. They are then stored in airships, allowing them to harness the winds. However, the current exact specifications are a state secret of Anhara.
This use for wind crystals was discovered by Henri de Gusmao while searching for a fuel source for his airship technology. However, he received significant guidance on this front by Talen Ossus, current Rhetorlord of Anhara, who both funded his research and guided him towards the more arcane secrets in the Vestrial Tower.
