Accept the food and drink #106

“Thank you,” you say, “that would be most kind, sir.”
“Oh, not at all, not at all my boy…” grins Toma.
Within minutes, cheese, cold meats and fruit are before you all, with glasses of fresh juice, water, ale and wine. None of you have to be asked twice.
You find yourself full and content.
“Well I shall deal with this matter immediately,” Toma says boldly, gripping your hand firmly. “We could use good, honorable people like yourself serving these lands.”
“We,” you pause, looking to your friends, “…may take you up on that offer. Thank you, sir. Especially for the food.”
Toma grins. “Just wish I could give you more of a reward for your efforts!”
