The blacksmiths shop is right next to the stables, which is so very convenient. You have access to more than a dozen horses…and hot objects to cause all sorts of mischief.
Pulling the horses out, you quickly make a rope halter for one of the stallions and tie several red hot branding irons to the other end. With a hoop and a shout and a whip against their rears, a stampede bursts from the confines of the barn.
Soldiers yell and dive out of the way as horses plow through the tents, dragging the irons—which light the dry cloth and miscellaneous objects on fire. In moments, the human camp is in chaos and you hear someone shouting. They’ve seen a human kid with a dwarf setting fire to the Captain’s tent!
OOPS!
You run back to The Three Swords, grab Valda, your belongings, and immediately leave town.
It was a short stay, but an educational one.
Military life definitely isn’t for you.
