The History of Valley of Plenty so far
The initial habitants of the valley were a mixture of ancestries that made deals with various neighbouring tribes. These other tribes are why rumours spread over the lost valley. Now overgrown, the old settlements are still warded by many ancient runes.
Current Species & Cultures
The current inhabitants had to flee their homes when an invading neighbour country broke a dam and flooded large parts of their country. Cut off on the other side of the now-wild river, the king has to defend the old country. Meanwhile, the villagers and their escorts have to carve out a safe space in the valley.
Needs & Relations
Resources are running out, so food, timber, ores, are what are desperately needed. Another need is safety. There's only so much the knights and adventurers can do, so the valley will take a while to conquer.
There might be other countries that can be reached and asked for aid, but currently there's no known way to do so.
