Gunegh
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Gunegh, also known as the Southern Skking, is a large even-toed ungulate native to Saymaclari. It is an omnivorous animal with distinct humps on its underside, used both for energy storage and protection. It is smaller and more aggressive than the Northern Skking, and has proven impossible to domesticate. It has a short dark undercoat beneath a longer iridescent fur, and long legs somewhat reminiscent of a camel's.
Basic Information
Behaviour
Guneghs live in herds numbering in the hundreds, comprised of dozens of tightly knit harems. Guneghs are notorious for their highly aggressive behavior towards humanoids and predators; they swarm perceived threats, vocalizing loudly while rising on their hind legs. Should this not suffice, they will begin stomping the threat with their front legs; like other skkings, guneghs are able to deliver powerful bites, and will resort to biting if they need to.
