Charlotte Miller

Charlotte Miller would be the following matron. At the age of 20, she led the organization until 1670, when she was burned at the stake. Under her leadership the movement began to feel the effects of the world. Up to this point, the most dangerous thing that they encountered was the same as anyone else who possessed the candlelight.   With wars being fought throughout the known world, the movement began isolating itself on the fringes of society, starting with England and moving to Ireland. Charlotte Miller made it a point to consolidate all members of your organization into a single space so that they could properly defend themselves against persecution brought on by the Inquisition and other religious movements they were beginning to adapt. Before this, it was fairly easy to handle the average person if they became a problem, something that happened more often than the historical documents kept by the movement took note off.   However, individuals became more aware of how it is that people gain the prestige. Many witch hunters underwent the rite in an attempt to fight fire with fire. Suddenly the members of the organization were met with a force that could defend itself, and it dropped their numbers well below 800. With Miller's death, the next individual who would take the helm of the movement was one that was both angry and deeply traumatized.
