PIke Station

Pike station is the headquarter of the Red Skulls Cartel and home to over 5,000 pirates operating in and out of the Outer Rim
Built in 984 AFL, Pike is the most known-secret installation. It is located deep into the asteroid field of Lacuna Star System and guarded by a fleet of hundreds of vessels which are stationed into it and all the satelite stations around it.
The whole station is build in the bowels of a planetoid called Coil. The station is considered to be neutral territoriy for all sorts of illegal operations and the Red Skulls security forces make sure that everyone follows the rules.
In effect Pike is a "pirate haven" a place that pirates can come to find and strike deals, resupply, find crew, and fence their hard earned goods.

Purpose / Function

Pike station was built by the Red Skulls as a way to conduct business but also as a safe haven for their fleet to resupply and repair after operations. The station's dockyards are able to accommodate ships up to a light cruiser and are equipped with everything you will need to refit or repair your vessel.
The primary purpose of the station is to allow pirates to fence their goods, for a fee. The Red Skulls are running a variety of legitimate trading ships which are able ot enter the Core worlds and bring in the loot as legimate trade goods.

Alterations

Throughout the years, the station has grown for a small habitat to a burgeoning small city with spaceport a dockyard and numerous manufacturing bays, warehouses and habitats.
