Midian

Sandwiched between the Overworld and the Underworld, Midworld is home to the Moment; the constant, slow explosion which shines like a tiny sun at the heart of Tellurica. All around this is an elemental chaos which adds to the massive planetary discs that surround it and also fills the interstitial space with motes of elemental matter and energy.
This massive "Inner Space" cushions Tellurica's planetary discs and maintains their separation. It contains the Elemental Courts, and is home to races found nowhere else on the material. In other cosmologies, Midworld would be an Elemental Plane, but this one isn't quite like the ones you may be used to.

Geography

At first blush, Midian appears to be a disordered collection of elemental motes all traveling away from the Moment at varying speeds; nation-sized asteroids drift soundlessly through void, windstorms full of fire parboil drops of water the size of great lakes.
