  • Frostfast Creek

Frostfast Creek is a shallow, stony watercourse fed by the meltwaters of the great glacier. Its jagged, stony bottom and typical depth of 1-2m make it unsuitable for most river-going commercial vessels, although it is passable by personal watercraft. Its current is swift-moving in places, although wide pools form under waterfalls and after rapids which house substantial populations of rainbow trout and catfish... and the occasional Rusalka.
