My WorldEmber Pledge 2022 in Tamyrh | World Anvil

My WorldEmber Pledge 2022

It Begins...

1. If you have more than one world setting, which one is the most important to you right now?
Tamyrh - The World As It’s Known. I’ve not made my other project public yet. ;)

2. Why?
My NaNoWriMo goal is to finish the final version of book three in my sci-fi series and send it to my editor. WorldEmber is an excellent way to channel that afterburn energy into creating dimension in my world, Tamyrh...

But Jenn, you’ve tried this before and... well, you know.
Yes, I know my track record for completing WorldEmber is... poor, but I’ll give it my best shot. Honest. Pinky-swearsy.

3. Which area of that world setting will allow you to achieve your goals (Continuing your novel/campaign or starting a new one)?
I’ll continue to create articles giving more background to the series’s places, people, and events.

4. How will it help you achieve those goals?
Right now, what I have up is for fans of my books. Once book three is complete, I’ll take a break and catch up on all the projects I’ve side-lined to write (World Anvil will be updated during this period). Ultimately, I plan to release an old-school-style tabletop RPG set in my universe. The content I’m creating on World Anvil will also be a part of that.

THE HOMEWORK:

Yes, I looked at all the bits. They stared back at me.

WEEK 1: MAKE A PLAN AND ANNOUNCE YOUR PROJECT TO THE WORLD!
I have declared my intent.

WEEK 2: META, MINI-META, AND INSPIRATIONS
I have many inspirations, and I’ll fine-tune the META.

WEEK 3: CREATE OR REVIEW YOUR CATEGORY TREE.
This will require time - it’s a jungle in there.

WEEK 4: CSS, PRESENTATION, AND GRAPHICS

This is a work in progress... I don’t know anything about CSS.

Hello! Thanks for asking - I have managed to gather a bunch of new bits to post, but holiday socializing has cut down on my work hours. Still, it's fun, and I'm not stressed about it. I've got your articles queued for reading! Your work is always a pleasure to read.

Cheers, all!
