In The Basement

Let's take a look at the basement, shall we? You're going to love my collection of critters.
He looked up at you, his face morphing from delight to concern. He must have noticed the worry on your face you were so desperately trying to hide.
Here, take my hand. I know the stairs are steep... and falling apart, I really need them fixed. It's okay, I promise.
He takes you down the stairs, one step at the time, firmly wrapping his arm around yours. You feel a soft, warm aura resonating from him, and can't help but feel comforted by it.
Thank you for that, I'm very clumsy, didn't want to fall down!
You giggle and look around the basement, but catch him blushing in the corner of your eye.
Well, take in the basement! Thanks to some handy magic, this basement is actually bigger than the asteroid we're on.
That's crazy. How is that even possible?
Darling, you have no idea what's possible with a bit of magic. Anything you desire can be yours. Anything at all.
Your eyes locked as he made the last remark. You both look away, and you feel your cheeks redden.
Taking in the basement all at once is an impossible task. While you're adjusting to all new sights, smells, and sounds, a peculiar bird flutters over to you. It has the most beautiful plumage, with pink, purple, teal, and yellow feathers.
That's one of my squillant pigeons! They make excellent familiars. Everything in the basement does. I take care of animals big and small, ones perfect as a magical companion for fellow witches.
As you take a look around the room, you notice a door on every wall. Each one is painted a different colour: green, blue, and yellow. Before you enter a door, the witch encourages you to stick around for a moment and take a look at the room you're standing in.
This room is where the magic happens. It's where I keep track of every creature in my basement! I have folders just behind you, listing all of my seven hundred creatures down here.
I also have lots of hollowed eggs, feathers, scales, claws, and other precious items I've collected from these animals. Some of them are on sale!
He pulls a bright yellow feather out of a satchel, and walks over to hand it to you.
Hmm... actually this would look good on you! May I?You nod your head. With a smile, he slides the feather inside your shirt pocket, patting it as he exclaims.Fantastic! You look gorgeous- er, it suits you!You're too focused on your new feather to notice the witch turn bright red, as he awkwardly shuffles away to sort some paperwork in the corner of the room.

You push open the purple door, to be hit with a powerful aroma. You have found yourself in an untidy stables, bordering a thick forest.

A tall flower lights up the stables, its white petals magnifying the flower's own glow.
Ah! I see you chose the purple door. This is where I house my domestics. I've got a bunch of super friendly animals. A couple birds, some unicorns, tons of highland cows - those ones LOVE dabbling in earth magics.
Just as you step foot in the stables you hear a soft rumble, the ground below you shaking. Bursting through the forest is a hard of the smallest, fluffiest cows you have ever laid your eyes on.
They run right up to you, nuzzling their heads in between your legs. As you both laugh, you kneel down to cuddle with the six cows surrounding you. One manages to knock you down, and the witch reaches his hand out to pull you up again.

Those cows can be a right problem sometimes. They don't seem to understand that people are quite delicate. Sorry about that! I guess I have to keep hold of you just to make sure you don't get hurt!
As he said that, you felt an excitement build up inside you.
Yeah, maybe.
You look at him with a grin, and he reciprocates.Come on, I'll take you down to the forest now. Let's head back to the yellow door!
Heading back to the basement room, you both enter the Yellow Door.

Three Doors. Which one do you choose?
You look down at the floor and notice, between the cracks in the floorboards, a pulsating blue glow. Curious, you kneel down and take a peek. The closer you get, the brighter the glow.
It is almost as if it's reaching out to you. Slowly, you push your finger through a crack in the floorboard. The glow reaches out, an icy cold feeling running through your hand.
