Linden and Bass is an internal medical facility for W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. agents.

Purpose / Function

When agents become injured or ill while on the job, they are transported to one of W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P.'s state-of-the-art medical facilities. There, highly-trained doctors and nurses utilize cutting-edge technology to treat the problem, expedite recovery, and prepare each operative for a smooth transition back into the workforce.

Design

The campus consists of three adjacent buildings constructed in a "v" formation intricately placed in the midst of a rural plain surrounded by acres of grass and hill.

Entries

In addition to the multiple doors in plain sight to enter through on the ground level, there are several secret compartments and trap doors that lead into concealed corridors which connect the hospital to other facilities and even secured bunkers that can be utilized in case of an emergency. The rooftop also supports entry. There are doors stationed there, and the roof itself has the ability to open and shut so that incoming helicopters can have the option to land atop it or inside it. The interior of the helipad compartment is complete with full hangar ammenities.

Sensory & Appearance

Linden and Bass aims to make their patients as comfortable as possible. The art and decor, as with all of W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P.'s properties, are heavily inspired by nature; specifically, trees.

Denizens

Doctors, nurses, technicians, and other practitioners are the lifeforce of the entire medical facility. Many of these reside on campus or in nearby locations so that their regular commutes to and from such a discreet location will not be observed or suspected by average citizens or individuals with intent to threaten or harm.

Contents & Furnishings

The medical facility is home to much advanced technology and even some experimental projects that could expand the horizon and improve the recovery process for afflicted agents in the future.

Hazards & Traps

The hospital is heavily guarded by both personell and automated alarm systems. The windows are also reflectant and bulletproof to prevent unwanted observation, entry, and damage. There is intense protocol to follow in the event of a breech.

Special Properties

The hospital runs on a private, secured internet server hosted by W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. Electricity and water is provided through underground tunnels from independent facilities in the main city. The building also relies upon natural resources such as solar power, turbine energy, and irrigation systems.

History

There is at least one W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. spy hospital positioned on each continent of the world. This particular location, stationed in a top secret area of North America, is known as Linden and Basswood. It was built in the mid 1990s and has since undergone several upgrades.
Before W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. began constructing their own medical facilities, injured operatives had to risk compromising their identities by visiting well-known doctors and hospitals, or settle with being treated on-the-spot within meeting rooms that quickly had to be converted to impromptu clinics.
Creating an internal hospital resolved these issues. It put agents out of the public eye (minimizing vulnerability and exposure), and cut down on revelations concerning the nature and causes of injuries that potentially violate non-disclosure agreements or may negatively contribute to the outcome of certain covert operations.
It also gave agents a comfortable haven to relax, destress, and recover at their own pace.

If you ever get injured out there, Linden and Bass is gonna become your new best friend. They have the best of the best there in doctors, medicine, technology-- everything. Don't worry about getting hurt, though. You're new here, and I don't expect you to be doing anything foolish that could get you hurt anytime soon... unless you're the kinda person who demands to be seen for getting papercut.

Yeah, no. If that's how you are, kid, I'm afraid this job isn't for you, so I suggest you turn back now before it's too late. Once you start dealing with that paperwork, you'll definitely see too much, and that's when they will have to terminate you. And I'm pretty sure no one wants that, am I right?
Anyway, we don't do any tours or anything, so, if you want to see the grand Spy Hospital, you gotta hope for your first serious injury.

Hidden in Plain Sight

The structure is the epitome of an average modern office building. It was specially designed as to not stand out or be different in any way. There is no branding on the gray building, neither are there ambulances or any other identifiers visable to the public eye. Passersby who chance to spot it from the land or in the sky only view what appears to be a generic business facility full of offices or possibly a place to house internet servers.
