Mentor Rank/Title in Secret Agent Someone | World Anvil

Mentor

Mentors are designated W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. operatives who are tasked to serve as teachers, advisors, and close contacts to Introductory Interns as they gain hands on experience in their field of choice or assignment.   The Mentors are not typically addressed by some grand title. It is up to them to inform the Interns of what they are comfortable being called. The Introductory Intern program dictates which operatives are assigned to which Interns and sends them on missions in the field that compliment their current skillsets and help to hone new abilities. The typical Mentorship lasts two to four years, but this will be adjusted depending on the Intern in question and their successes and failures.

Qualifications

All W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. ranks are elligible to become a Mentor. If the Introductory Intern is training to be a Base Operative, they will be assigned to a Base Op Mentor. Other Interns are likely to be assigned to Field Agent or Super Spy Mentors. Only the most talented Interns that show incredible promise will be assigned to Elite Espionage Mentors.

Requirements

In a typical case, two Mentors are assigned per Intern. These two are usually already partners with each other and have had some experience working as a team in the field. The selected agents must also have a good track record, meaning their mission success to fail ratio should be in excellent standing.
