Potions hold many secrets inside them and can create all kinds of surprises. You'll be learning about a few of those surprises in class, and how to use ingredients to create your unique... Concoctions.
Creating Potions is a method of using one of
The Seven Concepts of Magic alongside ingredients. Non-Magi who do not possess gifts of magic cannot create potions no matter how hard they try, nor how exact their ingredients are. Along with Calling, Potions is considered a primal form of magic, using the living world of Gaia herself to create powerful effects.
First year students begin learning about potions in their
Herbs and Potions class. They will have access to four potions that they will be examined on. The potions may also be helpful for solving plots, causing mischief and aiding their day to day experiences at the academy.
Students continue to learn new potions throughout their time at the academy, and may also learn helpful potions from other classes, clubs, a mentor or through self-studying.
