The very name of this constellation and the legend behind it -- Tvaores -- explains what the essential story behind it is. This constellation and the cat it is named after is known for his tears, put plain and simple. His story is one of heartbreak, and loss, but then of revival and happiness; it is the story of a father cat who lost his cubs, and found them again in an unexpected miracle.

The Tale of Tvaores

Although the constellation has existed long before its namesake, none of the groups on Novanati could figure out what to name it after. They simply could not come to a consensus on someone who deserved it enough. That was, of course, until the story of Tvaores surfaced.
Tvaores Atgira'ti lived his life, by all means, as a humble creature should. He was a cat of the Giant Cheetah species, and lived on the continent of Anomu. He grew up in a modest family, and had a modest life as an adult, pursuing a career as a simple fishmonger on the coast of the country he lived in. He was known for being kind, intelligent, and having a generous and loving heart which often got him into trouble, especially in love.
It was during one of his pursuits of love that he produced his prides and joy: his offspring, his cubs. Four of them, in fact, from just a single litter with the cat he was married to for only two short years before they left him, leaving him with only memories, and, of course, their children. He did not mind, however.
