The Awakened

Occupation and History

The Awakened was once a scholar and librarian. He was an asset to Sanctum in that he saved adventurers time in the stacks by retrieving texts they would need.

Appearance

He’s horribly deformed and his robes in tatters. He’s growing a claw on his right arm and spikes protrude from his head and left shoulder.

Abilities

His mind is leaving him but slowly. He’s quite wise and quite old for a warforged. He’s nearly 200 years old.

Talent

The Awakened is a scholar first but a vicious fighter second. He was originally bred for war.

Mannerism

Sometimes he’ll sit and stare off for minutes at a time during a conversation.

Interactions with Others

He’s kind but quiet. Most humans have never had time for him.

Ideal

Kindness and mercy go a long way. When paired with the sword, they can bring justice and light to a dark world.

Bond

The Stacks in Sanctum are his home. But he moves too slow and is too large to not get in the way. So he’s discarded.
