The Mind of Malachiel. An eye into the Weave itself.

To cast a spell, you must prepare it. You study the required components and the intricacies involved in its casting. To prepare it, you must know it. Scouring the world over for these sacred spells. But they have always been fickle. Cast too many and the mind simply can’t recall the arcane knowledge to cast again. But one wizard was not bound by the limits of the mind. It is said that Malachiel knew all spells that there are to know. Malachiel had no need to prepare a spell - he could summon it from the depths of his existence. He was the most dangerous and powerful wizard ever.
So the legend goes. When Malachiel ceased to exist (we know not why), he put forth a piece of his mind into an orb and cast it deep into the world where it rested in the primordial fires. Ages later, it reemerged in Kandalur but only for a moment. The Mind of Malachiel now rests in secrecy, awaiting the one who should find it.

Mechanics

The magic-user that holds this arcane focus can cast a number of unprepared spells equal to their proficiency bonus. They also learn 5 new spells when first acquiring the orb.
