The price changes with the culture and crime, but is usually some sort of long lasting or permanent form bodily harm. In some cases, such as when a blood price isn't payed, members of the offended party might seek retribution, often resulting in murder. This can escalate farther in blood wars, where two rival parties remain locked in a vicious cycle of retribution and revenge.
