Pundras, The Faceless One is the deity of strife, conquest, and tyranny. He is one of the most well known Deceiver Gods and is often followed by those who lean into the idea of conquest. Some have attributed some of the worst major leaders around the realm as champions of Pundras, regardless of their religious persuasions or not.

Appearance and Symbols

When depicted, the primary feature of Pundras is his lack of a face. Many depictions show them as a large humanoid with either no face, or one masked by a large helmet designed to resemble a skull. When the helmet is shown, the ashy smooth faceless head is covered in a set of dark and imposing shadows that fill in the voids of the helmet. Otherwise, Pundras is often dressed in a variety of massive armor pieces filled with regalia and draping with the bones of their conquests. Often they are show wielding a large spiked morningstar that has a chain wrapped around its handle.   At one point there were several symbols used for Pundras as a memorial to their conquests. However, most often they have been replaced by a visage of a skull being pierced by a spike. Many religious scholars have indicated that this has a dual meaning, a warning for the enemies of Pundras and his followers that this as how they shall find their end. The second meaning is a reference to the event that allegedly cause Pundras to lose his face during The Shatter.

Worship

Like many of The Deceiver Gods, Pundras is not openly worshiped in many nations of the worlds. However, unlike many of the other Deceiver Gods, Pundras still retains at least some level of worship from a full nation. Many of Pundras' followers still hide away in secret practicing more and more towards their final goal of conquest against what they believe are weak willed nations.

Steelwind Lords

The Steelwind Lords were originally a group of merchants following under the guidance of Uvalian, using their mercantile knowledge to find their own fortune in the lower reaches of Fieldas. However, in the last few decades, the lords that control the region have found themselves influenced more and more by a faction in their ranks that worship Pundras and are pushing them to start to conquer new parts of the realm, regardless of the difficult terrain to their north.   In the region of cities that form the Steelwind Lords, there are at least three direct temples to Pundras. There are claims that the placement of these were specific, with at least one scholar saying that there seems to be some form of divine ritual being crafted using the temples. These three pyramids each contain a powerful weapon at their peak that emits a sickly green light around the cities. When confronted during trade negotiations, the Lords seem to think that this is a light of luck from Uvalian. Though, as recently noted in the past few years, the three of them are starting to look more and more sickly.

Pundras was involved in the first attacks during The Shatter with Disaki, and Zeradoth. They all attacked Sovmora on the very first days of the conflict.   During The Shatter Pundras took control of many of the Goblinkin, taking them from theri home in the Fae Lands. in doing so, many of them were altered by the curses and torture that Pundras placed upon them, changing their forms to be more dimmuntive regardless of their origins. To this day, a curse still remains on some Goblinkin that makes them prone to attacking those around them to conquer them.

The Tyrant's Smile is a damn good name for a morningstar. Love it. Pundras sounds like an interesting god. I like that he dislikes disorder.
