The Grand Courts of Tawdrii have stood for over twenty ages, the institution immortal, the courts govern the ebb and flow of life within the world. Founded as a bastion of society amid an age of trial & chaos, the Grand Court brought order to the world & united all reaches of Tawdrii together under a single banner. To this day, the Grand Court's reach is undeniable, their magical edicts & world-changing rituals sculpting the very fabric of reality across the Counties. The center of the world upon Tawdrii, the Grand Courts hold unquestionable power over nearly all Worldly things - a power which Humanity lusts for & fears.

The Great Uniters

During tumultuous ages, The Grand Courts brought together the most influential of individuals throughout Tawdrii to connect the entire world under one umbrella; a political & military conquest which took four ages to reach its apex. Having earned their respect, the Grand Courts became the united front for near all Kindred across the face of Tawdrii.
In the modern day, The Grand Courts face incredible fissures in their leadership, many of the Legendary leaders which had maintained the Worldly powers & edicts which had previously held the Courts & Nobles together. Separatists in opposition to the Grand Courts' authority have sprung up throughout the world & actively use the chaos & disorganization that has erupted through the counties to call question upon their capability to keep Kindred united in this new world.

Connected to the Gods

Throughout the ages, The Grand Courts have ascended the entirety of Kindred knowledge & united their interests to represent them to the gods themselves. To this end, The Grand Courts moderate & regulate all interactions with Lesser Arcane & Greater Arcane forces - believing that to reckon with gods is to reckon with existence itself.
Founded in the third age of Tawdrii, the Order of Auditors is a Legendary order founded to bring to bear the full unity of Kindred to reckon with the gods.

Commanders of the Grand Order

To maintain their authority & the defense of all Kindred, the Grand Courts established The Grand Order in the second age of Tawdrii. A unified military force that serves as the sword & shield of Kindred's highest Authority, the The Grand Order allowed for the Grand Courts to bring Separatists, rogue factions, nobles & orders to heel.
Today, The Grand Order is a castrated shadow of its former self. Much of the military might of the Grand Order has been lost or expended in the wake of The Collapse.

Structure

The Grand Courts are founded of a collection of Kindred courts & noble families from across Tawdrii which represent the interest of their individual counties, races & peoples. The Grand Courts recognize & give authority to those families & courts which sufficiently represent themselves as noble to the interests of Kindred.

Culture

The Grand Courts are generally rather culturally heterogeneous, a combination of all the nobles & courts which are recognized & represented at the table.

Public Agenda

The Grand Courts pursue a conquest of unity across the world, bringing together Kindred, information, influence & military power in a bid to centralize & multiply the power of their combined peoples.

The Grand Courts have nearly limitless assets, capable of annexing up to 80% of any recognized court or noble's military, influence or resources to enforce the will of the entirety, an agreement which has remained in place since their founding.

Technological Level

The Grand Courts are the most technologically advanced civilization on earth, bringing the knowledge accrued from thousands of years of massive investment into public education. The vast majority of the technology which is discovered or invented by the Grand Courts is made public knowledge - available to almost all Kindred - with the exception of technologies & advancements they consider information hazards such as technology, practices or magic of mass destruction, powerful military hardware, arcane knowledge, secrets of the nobility.
To this end, most of Humanity awes at the vast & complicated works and inventions which the Kindred produce - often confusing magic for technology and visa-versa.

Foreign Relations

The Grand Courts have relatively friendly relations with the majority of European Union countries, as well as Canada, Mexico, Iran and certain States within the United States of America. This, however, has not warmed their relations with a vast majority of other countries, which continue to support The Hunt & engage in economic sanctions against all Kindred.

Education

The education of the masses & their progress towards their Ascension is one of the foremost priorities for the Grand Courts. To this end, the courts funnel a great deal of their wealth into Order of the Illuminated, funding the construction & operation of a multitude of academies, public information annexes & research expeditions to provide for the public interest.
Education is universal, and all costs associated with scholarly pursuits are adopted by the Grand Courts in order to allow for the higher education of all their denizens & citizens.
