Book Brooke
This is a medium-sized bookshop in the coastal town of Shadehold. To some of the sailors who frequent the town, it acts a bit like a library as they trade in old books in order to buy new ones. This has led to an eclectic collection, to say the least.
Purpose / Function
This bookshop has a bit of everything and its shelves are always stacked slightly above capacity. The owner, Radrini, is an easily excited catfolk who uses her agility to get any volumes in hard-to-reach places. While she's have truly exotic volumes or spell scrolls, there are pleanty of random pieces of literature. There aren't books on every subject, but there's a chance she has something on any given one.
Architecture
The building has two floors, half of the top one being the home of Radrini herself, the rest acts as both the shop and her own library. If there are no customers, she is usually found stretched out on top of a shelf, reading a book.
Every bit of floorspace that can be used for shelves are. They extend from floor to cieling, and sometimes there are shelves that spand between the wallsed shelves to make use of even that space. All of it is a mess that only makes sense in Radrini's head. It's unlikely that anyone besides her could find what they're looking for without hours or even days of searching. This is, partially, intentional. If no one can navigate the shop, there's less risk of someone breaking in to steal the valuable items she has.
