Rebellion vs Tashan Military Conflict in Iphars | World Anvil

Rebellion vs Tashan

Iphars is being reworked! Please bear with me!

While there's a porcentage of Tashan being Ipharians and they were promised equality, that was a lie. While Pasha tried their best to give equality, the rest of Melgent were not too happy on doing so. Ipharians were looked down, given less oportunities on things such as jobs and education, higher prices and lower incomes, etc. Ipharians were not happy, and it lead to a rebellion.

The Conflict

Prelude

Before rebellion, the Ipharians spent some months contacting Ipharians from outside Tashan to help them.
The Melgent managed to not learning about this rebellion until they started attacking.

Deployment

Ipharians from Tashan went to attack the town hall while reinforcements Ipharians attacked from the outside of the town.
Most of the Melgent defended themselves and their families. Pasha went flying around giving orders and helping, the Xezid protected the town hall with some warriors from the original families. The rest of the guard defended the outsides of the town.

Battlefield

The battle happened in Tashan, mostly near the town hall and in the outside of the town.

Outcome

With parts of the city destroyed, the Melgent started to rebuild as soon as possible. Many Ipharians left the city, while others stayed in the city either because they did not participate, or they helped Melgent or because they had no other place to go, bearing the shame of the rebelion lost.

Aftermath

Melgent were more cautious when new Ipharians came to live in Tashan. Pasha convinced the council of old families to give more equality to the Ipharians (starting by accepting a Ipharian in the Xezid).
