Icno'r

(bullshit, just mix with icno i suppose) Sometimes, more the old days than nowadays, the Icno were used as transports. These Icno were called Icno'r and were equiped with light saddles and sometimes armour or decorations.

Icno

Icno ability to fly has made them a rather useful as a vehicle to move around fast, and useful for its ability to reach unreachable places. They are easy to tame because are friendly creatures and it makes them easy mounts.
They have been used as mounts for a long time, but with the threat of their extinction their use as mount has almost disappeared, only used by the people in Icno's haven.

Before the hunt

Icno'r were a common transport usually equiped with a saddle and saddlebags. They were mostly used as a pack mule, but sometimes they were also carried around as a healer vehicle, as their blood can close up wounds almost immediatly (there is one downside, the Icno's exsanguination condition).

Nowadays

Icno'r nowadays are not used unless there is an emergency, and never used as healer vehicle. They are used to transport people or other animals. Sometimes Icno ask to be ridden, this usually happens when another Icno is in problems.

Mount

Icno need special mounts, light and thick mounts, to protect the rider from the sharp scales of the Icno's body and light so it bothers as less as possible the Icno when flying. The mounts are strangely shaped so they can fit between the two pairs of wings of the Icnos and still be able to carry the rider and the saddlebags.

This is to be deleted and merged with the Icno article. It is kept "alive" because I still need to write Icno and move the information from here to there.

Before Icno were started being hunted down, they bring happiness to injured people, to merchants, and to kids.
Nowadays Icno are a rare creature that simply by appearing seem to bring joy as it is believed to be a sign that their numbers are increasing. This mostly brings joy to the people in Icno's haven.
