Cypnite

Cypnite is a crystal, located near lava lakes, that emits heat. It is one of the Mesertine crystal, related to the fire magic and it is highly valuated in Dhalgron where most cypnite go after being mined and securated properly, to be studied.

Cypnite is a reddish orange coloured crystal that its colours make an illusion that makes it like there is liquid inside the crystal in constant movement. It is sharp and usually small (smaller than a hand), it is always hot, to the point that is needed a special protection to touch them.

Cypnite is a magical crystal that emit geothermal energy.

Geology & Geography

These crystals are created near lava pools, in earth. They are mostly located under the lava lakes and more rarely at the sides of the lake.

Life & Expiration

These crystals seem to have a life of 10 years after being extracted.

History & Usage

History

Cypnite started being discobered 39 years ago, when with help of the new recently discovered magic people could move large quantities of earth. The have been studied and expermiented since then, but have barely been fully known, it is thought that there are more properties yet to be discovered.

Everyday use

While its not commonly used by people, it is used to heat things up and warm enviroments. It is also used as power for some recently news machines that requiers heat to be able to function, but the main uses of this crystal are though to yet be discovered.

Storage

Stored in special cooling jars so the heat cannnot break the container. Normal containers are burned by the heat the crystal emits.

Law & Regulation

Government prohibites its trading and using unless the people with the crystal have special permissions that the government gives after being sure that the crystal would not be a nuisance and that it would be in expert hands.
