Brie Ataad

Brie is a Rakheth Zetoni from the Idears island in Kliras. Their love to explore caves made them leave their home and find caves to explore with their friend Ilva.

Physical description

Their pale skin and green eyes shows their mother Zhego blood. Their red fur shows their father Rakheth blood. Brie has always been a skinny person, and is tall, taller than the Zetoni average. They take care of their fur twice a day so its always clean and soft. They lost half ear in the first expedition to the Brie's caves, and losed their right arm after the Ilva incident.

Personal history

Growing Up

Brie was born form a Zhego immigrant mother and a Rakheth father. They grow in a small porteño town in Idears, learning to fish from their father and to deal with animals from her mother. There was a small cave in the beach in the town, where all the kids used to go to play when the tide was low and while all the kids played in the cave, Brie studied the cave.

They grow up learning about caves and exploring with the help of their mother while hiding it from their father as he would never allow his kid to become an adventure that risk their life for money. And when Brie became an adult, their mother gave Brie the family heirloom, a necklace, and told them that, if they wanted to become an explorer, they should leave that same night and get on the ship that sailed to Branul. Brie did so, and left with Ilva, their best friend.

Adventuring

Brie and Ilva arrived at Branul a couple of days later. And started roaming Branul trying to find a job, be it as adventurer or not. Some time pass without finding jobs and surviving with what they could hunt or fish, until one day, while passing through Kishidu, they find out that a kid went missing, probably lost to the near cave.

Call to be a heroe?

Adventuring and cave was enough to make Brie take the job without telling anything to Ilva, though Ilva did not bother when he found out about the job. They got their stuff and left in direction of the cave as soon as possible. The cave was near the town but not enough so it could be arrived, explored, and came back in the same day, so they mounted a camp near the entrance.

Ilva

Ilva is a Larvaes Kreanes whose family moved to Idears a couple of generations ago, but still kept the Larvaes tradition. He is a lovely

person and makes friends very easily. He shares the love for caves that Brie has and gets exited pretty easily when starting new projects thought he may leave them half finished as gets burn out pretty easily.

Brie's curiosity grew too stong, so they started exploring the cave. The kid was near the entrance, not too hard to find, but he was being custodied by a Kronomis and trapped under some rocks, and Brie could not see if he was breathing. Brie attacked the Kronomis without thinking and after a rough fight, where they lost half left ear, the Kronomis was dead and Ilva appear, freaking out, more worried about Brie than for the kid, but Brie was still focused on the kid and tried to rescue the kid. Ilva helped and when they got the kid out, they saw that, not only the kid was trapped under rocks but he seemed to have been mining shiny crystals and he had animal wounds on his torso. The kid was dead.

This affected Brie and Ilva, they both took the kid back to the village and left almost immediatly, not bearing to be late to safe the kid life, even if the kid was dead for days. Brie took it personally, and thought that they could redeem themself by exploring the cave and making it safe.

Starting to explore Brie's caves

At the start, it was only Brie and Ilva exploring the cave. It seemed to be easy thing, and they explored the room, but then they saw the tunnels, probably connecting to other caves, and they realized this could not be done by the two of them alone.

Ilva when to find more people while Brie started to expand the camp and make the main entrance and cave more safer. They also send to analize the crystals that the dead kid was mining, and found out that they were only pretty, nothing else. Ilva came with 4 people more a week later. They started exploring the cave system and Brie started doing a map for the cave system.

The Red Igeras

A decade later, Brie and Ilvas were getting famous and people started visiting them, asking them to explore and kill any animals that lived in caves near their houses and towns. Brie refused the offers, saying that they would not want to explore other caves while this cave system was not fully explored, but Ilva wanted to help this people, and after talking with Brie for a couple of weeks, Brie finally accepted and Ilva started creating an explorer organization, focused on exploring caves, named The Red Igeras.

Ilva Incident

The caves had been being explored for about twenty years when the Ilva incident happened. One day there was a earthquake, first one in decades, while many explorer groups where inside the caves. It all became a massacre, roof and floor collapsed in certains parts of the caves, trapping or killing many explorers. Ilva was in the caves when it happened, he and his group was one of the first to be found out, all of them death.

This incident hit hard on Brie, in a period of time no longer than an hour, half their explorer died, 5 got injured and their best friend died. Many explorers that were still alive decided to leave, and Brie found themself almost alone, with just a couple of explorers supporting them. The next weeks they gathered all the corpses of their fallen friends that they could find and buried them, but not all were able to be recovered. While moving the corpses, the group were attacked by Kronomis, Brie lost their right arm because one of their injures got infected. Brie found a injured Tengral under some rocks and helped the little animal to recover. A week later, the group started to work again, without help of Brie.

Almost a month later, Brie started working again. They did not focus on exploring caves as they usually did, but focused on reinforce the caves and tunnels, to a point where they reinforced places that did not need a reinforce. Once they got no more places to reinforce, they focused on recruiting more people. Sheezaa was one of the people asked to be recruited, an adventured that some people in Estril considered her to be a hero, but Brie got no answer from Sheezaa.

Last days

The expedition group grow fast even thought everyone knew about the Ilva incident, and the Red Igeras was soon back to work in the Brie's caves and other caves around Branul. Brie and their group were starting to be considerated heroes in small towns all around Branul, by cleaning the caves near the towns.

No big problems happened again until, five years after, Brie decided it was time to start exploring the second floor of the cave system. Brie decided that they would lead the expedition group.

As expected, many of the tunnels in this floor were flooded, and Brie did not want to risk loosing more people by going through the flooded tunnels and had to push to one tunnel that, while it did not look dangerous, there could be hear animal noises and most of the explorition group were scared. That would be the last exploration for Brie as the animal sounds came from a large Kronomis family, and Brie sacrificed themself so their group could escape.

Legacy thingy

Brie death affected a lot of people and even the Tengral they saved years ago.

The Red Igeras, now with a new leader, keep working on exploring caves and named the main cave system after Brie, the Brie's caves.

Fazlex

Fazlex is a Tengral that met Brie in the Brie's caves when he was trapped under some rocks. Brie helped him get out of under the rocks and took care of him until he was fully sane. Fazlex decided to stay around Brie whenever they were near the main entrance of the Brie's caves and always goes meet with Brie when its dark or they enter the caves. However, he does not get to far from the caves, does not get too near of strangers and does not take food from anyone but Brie. He helped to find Brie's corpse when they died and died shortly after.

The Red Igeras

Brie started The Red Igeras after people started to appear to the campment, asking help by cleaning the caves near their houses, from everywhere in Branul. Ilas proposed Brie to start it, and when they accepted, Ilas started readying everything for the organization and created an emblem. Brie, while being busy with the exploration of the Brie's caves, started gathering new people for the organization in their free time. Soon, they were able to send groups of their people to start exploring other caves while still focusing in the Brie's caves.
