"Sheriff" Gary

You never hear about crime in Margay and Gary sleeps all day. I guess it works.

Gary gets up when the sun starts to creep over the horizon. He gets dressed, grabs his father's old sword and kisses his wife and children on the forehead before heading out the door. As he makes his way towards the jail he keeps his eyes wide and his hands ready in case he spots any trouble. He is what keeps the town of Margaysafe. He knows crime never sleeps. He too will never sleep.....except when he is comfy in his chair at the jail; then he might rest his eyes for just a bit.

A Family Man

While Gary may overestimate his contribution to Margay, he is quick to tell you his family is his motivation in everything he does. He live with his wife, Clara, and their twin babies, Sara and Larry. Before Sara and Larry were born, Clara and Gary spent most of their time away from Margay on what they refer to as "Couple adventures." No one knows what they did on those adventures, but once Clara became pregnant, they stopped traveling and began dedicating every moment to building the perfect home. Sara and Larry are only 6 months old but already have both Clara and Gary wrapped around their tiny fingers. When Gary is not napping, he is bragging to anyone who will listen about his "perfect little family."

A Working Man?

Sheriff Gary views himself as the fine line between Margay and complete anarchy. In reality, the most "crime" he sees, is the occasional drunk that got too rowdy at The Tiny Cat. Gary is also a member of the "Volunteer" watch, which again, sees very little action. He doesn't like the pre-meeting workouts, but even he is afraid of Englebertha's wrath. Gary also delivers goods his wife makes to the local General Store. There are rumors that the little wooden toys that pop up in the shop from time to time are actually a group effort between himself and Mervin Girdz, but Gary laughs it off and says his wife has many skills.

About Clara

Clara is a devoted wife and mother. She helps tend to the Apple Orchards of Margay and spends a large majority of her time making various goods for sale at the local General Store. When she leaves the house she always has her twins with her and can often be seen with both children wrapped and being carried on her back. Clara has a large stash of goods and supplies that she collected during her travels that she uses to create and provide for her family and the town. She is sercretly working on a new project she simply refers to "an innovation in wardrobe," after the twins are asleep for the night.
