You did what?! With who?!

General Summary

Threat Level Midnight

Rewards Granted

  • Vormund received a coin from Lady Astorio to get seats at her speech later in the day.
  • The 3rd floor bartender and giggling girl got names (Lados & Halia).
  • Orek got a communication bracelet from Lelk.
  • Sorrow, from the goodness of her heart, gave Lelk her communication bracelet so she could stay in touch with Orek.

Missions/Quests Completed

  • We still don't know Lady Astorio's name, apparently no one does, so that's neat.
  • (kekekekekeke)
  • River, begrudgingly, tells us that the bird eating is part of traditional Goblin mating rituals and we're all worse off knowing that.
  • Sorrow realizes that Vormund had relations with her relation.
  • Tremainn goes to the first floor to ask the bartender for the time, he finds out that it's around midday. While on the first floor, he inspects a bulletin board and see's a recruiting poster for a Brudenia Special Forces with the name 'Sentinel' at the bottom.
  • Vormund gets the name of the third floor bartender (Lados) and the giggling small elf girl (Halia). Lados informs him that Lady Astorio's speech will be when the suns align but when is that? No idea.
  • Lelk is retrieved from the second floor by Vormund, giving Orek a panic attack/existential crisis.
  • We all convene on the first floor and see Tremainn frozen in place. As Vormund tries to get his attention, Tremainn almost hits him while in his glitched out state. But Tremainn catches himself at the last minute and it is very apparent to the group that he needs repaired sooner than later.
  • After Tremainn comes too, we start discussing how little we remember from the night before. It's odd that even William has a period of time he can't account for - based on what Bruiser the bouncer told him. William was told that he and Bruiser played cards but William has no memory of this. Tremainn uses his helmet of telepathy to search our minds and finds black holes in William, Sorrow and Vormund from the night before and he can ascertain that our blackouts started around midnight. Lelk is the only one without a black hold of memories. She still can't remember but there isn't a gaping hole in her mind where the memories should be like there is with William, Sorrow and Vormund.
  • Someone finally tells us the time and it's about 1pm.
  • We all go outside to wait for the block carriage to take us to Lady Astorio's speech.
  • While we're waiting outside, we fill each other in on our evenings (what we know of them). Also it's decided that we will go to Kallum's first for Tremainn's repairs. Tremainn asks that someone stays with him and we're like "duh, we're all staying" and he's super touched.
  • Dryjog shows up, prison break style. He's very jealous that we all had super fun nights and he didn't. He gives us more information on the suns aligning and turns out Lady Astorio's speech with be at 6pm (ish). So we have plenty of time to go to Kallum's for Tremainn's repairs.
  • Dryjog ruins Lelk's innocence by bluntly stating that Sorrow and Vormund did more than just "hang out" with the people they spent the night with. This is very shocking for Lelk.
  • (What did you expect, it's Dryjog! xD)
  • Finally, we see the block carriage but not before a portal appears over it and a whole ass ship comes through it into the city. From far off we see what appears to be another Lelk (the jammer!). It's a space pirate heist and they're trying to steal our ride.

Character(s) interacted with

  • Lady Astorio
  • River Windrunner
  • Detective Hammarforth
  • Lados, bartender extraordinaire
  • Halia, giggling small elf
  • Orek the hobgoblin
  • First floor bartender (name unknown)
  • Dryjog

Notes

  • When Lady Astorio leaves Vormund she turns to see Sorrow, River, William and Tremainn arrive on the third floor. She looks extra hard at Sorrow and says "Per Audacia Ad Astra". Sorrow has no idea what that means but it appears that Lady Astorio recognized Sorrow enough to know that they're related.
