Tree of the Cosmos
The Tree of the Cosmos exists throughout every realm and is the very force of nature that ties them all together. The origins of the tree are unknown to all but a couple of individuals spread throughout history. It is theorized that our very existence originated from this tree ( much like the big bang ), but no evidence has ever been found to prove this.
When the Tree of the Cosmos appears in a realm, it always contains 8 magnificent paintings spread out across the inner trunk walls. The paintings are of different locations from various realms, with no realm showing up twice. Equally peculiar; the paintings are different every time and has never shown any painting that had been previously displayed throughout 500 years of recorded history.
Each painting in the Tree can be used as a portal to the realm depicted, but only if the requirements for that painting are met (each realm has different requirements).
