William Martell
William Martell is an Investigator. Relatively new to the Service, he has been primarily assigned to tracking down reports of unusual phenomena and determining whether additional investigation is required.
History
William Martell was born into the family that owns the Martell Digestive Biscuit company. As the youngest son, Martell was destined for a life as a manager in the family firm. To postpone this destiny as long as possible, he remained at university as long as possible with the help of a doting grandmother.
As Martell was exhausting his academic career, he was saved from a life of biscuit manufacture by his biology professor, Douglass Copeland, who had retired from a long career as an Investigator in the Service. Knowing of the Service's need for new Investigators following the Canadian Incursion, Copeland approached Martell and upon completion of examinations, Martell received an invitation to No. 1 Silver Place.
