Veria

The wild isle

Veria is a mostly uninhabited island off the northeastern coast off Serukis, and is one of the ninety islands currently under Seruic rule. A single lighthouse sits on a cliff to the south of the island, warning ships away from its rocky shores. Most of the island is wild, covered in tangled woods and agrestal moorland.
However, the verdance of nature is concealing ruins. Until 4011 EA, it had a thriving population of humans, but, following a dispute about fishing rights, this group of people was almost entirely wiped out. Some of their descendents may still live in Serukis today, but Verian as an ethnicity is extinct. This is considered a dark blot on Seruic history.
