Solace

Solace is one of the oldest Seruic settlements in the country of Serukis. It was founded only a few years after the Crossing by those endeavouring to journey as far east as they could. When they came across the mighty Serpent, they were unable to locate a safe crossing point - and none of them had the skills yet to build a bridge or a boat. This river would one day mark the border between Serukis and the neighbouring country of Caillah.
Solace today is a a busy riverbank city, acting as one of the major ports along the length of the Serpent. It has a population a around eight thousand people. They maintain a good relationship with the Caillish across the river, and trade flourishes.
