Genarion's Wall
The city wall
This article is a stub. Please comment if you would like it to become a priority for expansion.
Genarion's Wall stands around the Eshuan city of Meridan. It is the newest of the city's walls, having been built around one hundred years ago when the city needed to expand. Meridan has four walls in total, mapping the city's growth over time.
Genarion's Wall is about ten metres tall and built from sandstone. It is named after the leader of the city at the time it was built, a man called Genarion. On top of the wall, the walkway is large enough that four guards could walk abreast. Positioned strategically along the wall are three watchtowers, each equipped with a large iron bell to sound the alarm if necessary.
There are two gates set into the wall, both of which can be closed with a heavy portcullis as well as heavy wooden doors. The gates have guard posted at them at all times.
An impressive structure, and expensive; who are their enemies that they are defending against?
Mostly the Erish, who occasionally still try to expand their empire, and also there are a lot of myths about dangers in the sea in the area they live in.
