Terraformation Storm

Building the Climate System one Storm at a Time

Terraformation Storms are extreme weather patterns caused and controlled by Terraformation Towers. They are often notably severe, causing monsoons, flash-floods, blistering heat, cold snaps, and every other conceivable weather pattern, sometimes back to back.

Purpose

These patterns aren't intended to be gentle transitions, they are intended to keep a world alive and establish a consistent ecosystem. As the world settles, the network of towers will trigger less and less severe storms. It is rare that a planet reaches total equilibrium, however—the climate is almost always reliant on the storms to some degree.

Glitches

In some cases, storms may rage constantly in parts of the planet or across its entirety. This can occur because a tower is broken and interrupting the rest of the grid, or because something on the planet prevents it from reaching equilibrium.
