Focus

Focus (pl. Foci) are entities whose very existence is one of the great mysteries of Ethnis. By all reason, they should not exist. Their very presence disrupts reality as though in the presence of a glitch. and their capabilities defty that of physics itself—many of them deny the laws of thermodynamics, gravity, math, and other logics which hold our universe together.

True Names

The true names of Foci seem to hold relevance to them, but are difficult to discover. All names they have have been given to them by others rather than being declared themselves.

For example, Cannibal is also known as the King of Teeth and The Eater, but has been referred to by other Foci as names such as "Vengeant Gaze of the King, Scanning the Horizon".
